I detest snow, but it is preferable to ice...

Letter from home
Dear Friends,
We always wonder what happened to someone when they suddenly disappear. I thought it was time, perhaps, to give you guys a 'heads-up'. I will be leaving and not suddenly keeling over. As most of you know, I am not the healthiest person in the world, but you do know that I have other interests as well. If you don't see me, I could be off on one of my adventures.
I have given it all as far as being a writer. I had Monroe Street free for quite some time, plenty of downloads, nary a comment from the freebies. I have everything at $0.99 for the time being for any that thought they would like to read something else. I will probably close my account with them in a month or two. There is no sense beating a dead horse.

As far as my tangible books go, I have found that they do not ship media mail to customers and the bookpatch charges exorbitant fees for their shipping. I am terribly sorry, I did not know. That account will be closed at the same time. I have copies for myself and that's all I wanted to begin with.
I have lots of birds now and they are greedy little things. Thought I had five pair of cardinals, but I was wrong, there are more than that. It is hard to catch them all in my viewfinder. Think I will have to have Dollie buy more seed for them.
DH and Dollie cleaned out the garage. My convertible is now snug as a bug in a rug. He also put locks on the doors, too much temptation in there for light fingers. It's the neatest it has been since we moved in here 9 1/2 years ago. I still see things that could take the trip to the dump.
DH is driving my Buick now. I did hate to give up the keys, knowing it will be on his list of Le Sabres Destructed. ('twill be #4) There is nothing I can do about it.
Please do not tell me to cheer up. Right now, I just plain hurt and this computer is killing me. I have bursitis in both shoulders and arthritis in both hands and wrists. I think I really messed up going on ancestry.com, bad mistake. So if you see me, you see me, if you don't, you don't. Take care now - I will be in and out. Enjoy your weekend!
