Letter from home

Dear Friends,

We always wonder what happened to someone when they suddenly disappear. I thought it was time, perhaps, to give you guys a 'heads-up'. I will be leaving and not suddenly keeling over. As most of you know, I am not the healthiest person in the world, but you do know that I have other interests as well. If you don't see me, I could be off on one of my adventures.

I have given it all as far as being a writer. I had Monroe Street free for quite some time, plenty of downloads, nary a comment from the freebies. I have everything at $0.99 for the time being for any that thought they would like to read something else. I will probably close my account with them in a month or two. There is no sense beating a dead horse.

As far as my tangible books go, I have found that they do not ship media mail to customers and the bookpatch charges exorbitant fees for their shipping. I am terribly sorry, I did not know. That account will be closed at the same time. I have copies for myself and that's all I wanted to begin with.

I have lots of birds now and they are greedy little things. Thought I had five pair of cardinals, but I was wrong, there are more than that. It is hard to catch them all in my viewfinder. Think I will have to have Dollie buy more seed for them.

DH and Dollie cleaned out the garage. My convertible is now snug as a bug in a rug. He also put locks on the doors, too much temptation in there for light fingers. It's the neatest it has been since we moved in here 9 1/2 years ago. I still see things that could take the trip to the dump.

DH is driving my Buick now. I did hate to give up the keys, knowing it will be on his list of Le Sabres Destructed. ('twill be #4) There is nothing I can do about it.

Please do not tell me to cheer up. Right now, I just plain hurt and this computer is killing me. I have bursitis in both shoulders and arthritis in both hands and wrists. I think I really messed up going on, bad mistake. So if you see me, you see me, if you don't, you don't. Take care now - I will be in and out. Enjoy your weekend!

  1. glad you're getting hordes of birds. as for being present on the internet, we'll be here anytime you want to pop in. :)

  2. Time for a break from researching on the computer, Sharon.
Speaking of time, so happy the birds found your feeder!! they give so much entertainment. I wish we could do the same but feeders bring rodents by the dozen around here.
That is the tidiest garage I have ever seen.

  3. I now know about the pain from sitting at the computer. I'm spending more time on the heating pad or in a very hot bubble bath for nerve pain from my lower back and down my legs. Glad your feeder has become a huge success.

  4. You do want you need to do. Look after yourself but please pop by time to time and let us know how you are going xx

  5. Sharon, take care of yourself and enjoy the birdies!
    Hugs, Sandra

  6. Try to fix your arthritis with somethings that are cheap and simple to take, MSM and BORAX in very tiny amounts (1?8teaspoon in a quart of distilled or other purified water.
Google it. Buddy and I have done this for some time and the pain has gone! no more pain killers!
For our heart health we've started taking cayenne powder drinks. My BP is now a perfect 127 over 82!!
Hope to see you back when you get rid of those nasty pains. You can if we did it.

Thank you for your visit!
