Lowering my standards

Just a little letter from home today. 

Dear Friends and People who put up with me,

My helper came again today and did (?) her job. I have no choice but to consider it a job well done because I can't do it myself. I have decided that I have to lower my standards and be thankful somebody is cleaning up in here. Perfectionists do need a shrink... I like certain things done certain ways and I am just going to have to look the other way when the bowls are put in the wrong place or half the dust is left on a table. I can hope she catches the other half next week. Not everyone does things the same way as WE do it.

You have to know it's making me a little crazier than usual though. Right? I imagine if I get stuffed in at a nursing home, I will be there a week and then sent to the funny farm, because I know already that they don't do things right... er, MY way. Now what did she do with my shoes...

We Got Rain!

It looks like we have some dirty work ahead, even with the splash thing-a-ma-bobs the water is too close to the foundation.

It wasn't raining heavy when I took the pictures - I was hanging out of the window. :-) We did get our rain though - a real good soaking rain!

Let It Rain

Friday at six a.m. the crew showed up to make our new gutters and downspouts. Have grid too only you can't see them. Will need splashers yet, but waiting for the rain.

Have been busy slashing "I" & "and" out of text and my eyes feel like peeled onions, back is stiff, still have to high % of each, argh! Is first person with couples, no less!

Tacky Funny Fur

Note: Longer fur on the back

Tacky is just a little strange

Her long fur has red tips. Still looking for a home for her. DH had her litter box trained until the skunk came around, now she won't live in the garage anymore. She stays under the porch or on it. I can't have another house cat, she's very lovable and it does make it hard.
