I don't know if the world is speeding up or I am slowing down. I can't keep up with everything anymore.

Memory Loss

There can be some good things to be said for memory loss. I decided to gather my 'best' versions of the stories I have written, into a single file. I was kind of surprised, I haven't been writing much more than three years (I think). Now - these things are all the completed versions - I had so many that my files seemed to go on forever. I clicked on one to open it up because I had no idea what it was. I was happily surprised when I saw it pop up on Word. I read it again, it's not too shabby.

Another good thing about memory loss, is movies - there is something familiar, so you watch it and because you only faintly remember watching it and cannot remember the outcome - you enjoy it as if it were the first time. After my son was born, twenty four years ago, I was amazed at how many episodes of *MASH* that seemed 'new' to me. My doctor said it was hormones or perhaps the lack of them.

I really don't want to delve into the bad things of memory loss, that's no fun.

Snow - The dogs liked it. 

I am not a fan of snow, but except for in the deep shadows, this mess is all gone now. We are back to various shades of blah and I am okay with that.

Change of Scene

I had my friend, Joanne, come to help me with my womb. Not finished yet, but the closet is neatly crammed to capacity. We moved one of the loveseats and my computer table into the living room. The daybed will be coming in here. Okay, so I had over 24 hours of no computer. The desk hadn't been moved yet, but I couldn't take it anymore. This morning I moved it myself. I turned the bugger and moved it, inch by inch, using a rubber backed rug for my butt and my legs and arms for pushing, pulling, and shoving. I bet the lady bug on the wall had a good chuckle! Jack and Jill came tripping in here, looking confused. The rest of the room looks terrible yet, but I am online!

Yes, I did move it with all the stuff on it.

Now that I have had my "fix", I am going to go watch TV, this old lady is ready to lay down! Have a great day!

The weather has been like this all day. If we have a groundhog, you can be sure he stayed in his den, out of the rain!

House hunting has me feeling a bit like I was mugged in an alley. I decided to read and rest up a bit. I imagine everyone is getting geared up for the Super Bowl... enjoy the game!
