Silent night, bright night

Because our house is at an angle, our neighbor's seasonal lights shine in both the southerly and westerly windows. Yep, my womb, the bathroom, the back hallway, and the kitchen windows. Jill and I have trouble with it so bright in here. They shine all night. Between the festive lights and their yard light, we get little sleep. Sigh... Worse than a full moon.

I will be happy when when new year rings in... Last night was definitely the longest night.

    1. NO, not blinking, I believe I would have called the and have been a bad neighbor.

  2. Sorry for your loss of sleep but at least your picture came out pretty. I took one of our neighbors trees and they didn't do them justice and they don't keep us awake.

    1. Yep, I am almost ready for foil on the windows, but there is that damp, moldy problem when you do that. Sigh...
I actually thought about lighting the fig trees, but would shut them off at bedtime.

  3. Our neighbours decided after 15 years to leave their porch light on ALL NIGHT LONG ~~ oh what loverly sots they are. The lights shine in too and so we have to pull the bathroom shower curtain and hang a towel to block the light. Full Moon intensity. Then to add to our night time dark issue our porch light burned out after 15 years. Is this a sign!?

    MERRY XMAS Sharon!!

  4. Maybe a sign you need a new back porch light. :)
It is irritating to have someone's light bothering your space.
