I knew it!

I knew I was stepping in doody, or caca or a dog pile when I posted my latest post. It's been something I have been wanting to say for a while. If you don't like it, leave. I am tired of pussyfooting around trying not to say the wrong thing.

I am not a republican or a democrat or any of those odd groups. I do know when I don't agree with some people's thinking. I have never been 100% in agreement with any of our leaders. BUT, I have never been so ashamed as I am now of today's leaders!

Anyone who says, "Let's make America great again," is inferring that we were not. Well, he got his wish, NOW, we need desperately to become great again.

I'm not going to debate, these are only my feelings, thoughts.

  1. I hear you! It's hard for me to accept that so many of us in the USA can see the same man sitting in the White House and not ACTUALLY SEE the man in the same light. Your last post included a story that should be a warning to everyone that we need to stay vigilant against the rapid changes happening in our country over the past year.

  2. Preaching to the choir here Lady, you have the right to your opinions and I would never knock anyone for saying what they feel, I steer away from issues like this mainly because I don't want to discuss them, but like you mentioned enough is enough and it was time for you to speak, you spoke and there is nothing wrong with your opinion because it is exactly how you feel.

People are going to agree 100% and others are going to disagree 100%, but in this format you do not have to debate, nor should you have to, if I run across someone's post that I totally disagree with I just skip that one and come back for the next, it is as simple and complicated as that.

  4. Whether we agree or not, I totally respect your opinion and your thoughts. And I'd never be the one to tell you that you can't express them. And to those who disagree with you, and end a friendship etc., well, I think it says more about them and so much less about you. Friendships to me are more important and political differences - So you go girl, write and say what you want, this is your space!! :-)!!

  6. When I read yor previous post Sharon I did wonder if you knew what you were doing - I did think about commenting but it's not 'our' problem and it's your blog and you can say what you like.

Hoping you've not had any nasty exchanges with other readers/bloggers.

  8. I endorse Jimmy's comment wholeheartedly. I think I must have missed your previous post... will go back. I know how you feel though, political leaders in the UK aren't much better.

  9. Yeppers!!!! It is BRAVE, to post our views!!!!

And I applaud you, for being brave enough, to do so.

I can disagree with them, and still be PROUD of you, for using your FREEDOM, to state them.

An aside, if you didn't want any DISCUSSION, couldn't you have turned off Comments? And said you were doing thus, and why...

Then, there wouldn't have been any differing opinion stated.

When we leave comments open, we open the door, to differing views.

    Just a possibility...

    Happy Monday hugs,

    1. The last time I turned off comments, it took me a week to get the thing to work again.

  10. I lost, whom I thought was a good friend on Facebook (and fellow pet-blogger) because I did voice my opinion followed up with a few facts supported by two authoritative groups and she said I was wrong. There are at least two things in this world that one does not tell me I'm wrong about - my opinions and my feelings because neither will change - and if someone is not going to respect those then they are not respecting me as a human being. I did not choose to unfriend that person, she unfriended me - I know and expect people to have differing opinions from mine - that's part of what makes us individuals. I just think too that if everyone shared everyone else's opinions then this would really be a boring world.

In case you are wondering - yes, this is a subject I feel very strongly about.
