House Hunting...

Curb appeal, that's what the house we looked at today, was all about. A darling little home with hardwood floors and new vinyl siding. I saw the picture and fell in love. Room in the backyard for a fenced-in area for the dogs. Nice quiet neighborhood with real live neighbors, hopefully the visiting kind.

While we were waiting for the agent to come and let us see the inside, we decided to check out the back yard to see how hard it would be to make a nice sized yard for Jack and Jill.

It seems they only sided 2 sides and then not all the way up to the peak of the roof (that would have to be replaced). You can imagine my disappointment when I saw the back... with the "partial" basement.

EEEEEEEEE!
Rusty batteries, and broken glass and heaven only knows what was hidden behind the curb appeal. Cracked foundation walls, insulation hanging and I do believe the water supply was a lead pipe. Run, Sharon, Run!
