Christmas Long Ago

Well, it is Christmas. I don't know about you, but I remember a time when the digital cameras first came out that a peon could actually afford. The pictures were rough, you didn't need any special filter to make them look "custom" -  they just looked that way. I look at this old shot now and I remember taking it, I remember what the day was like, and I remember what we talked about. I guess that's about all a person needs is a little poke to the brain - to bring back the memories. Sharp pictures are not required, they are stored perfectly clear with so much else, in your mind.
Make some memories today.

  1. I remember when my husband used to take pictures with a polaroid (sp?). It was the latest thing at the time but they sure weren't very good pictures and didn't last. He had a good camera before he died and someone broke into our house and stole it along with other things. Have a good Christmas day.

    1. We had a Polaroid, too, useless now, of course. Sorry about your theft, that had to be difficult, knowing someone had been in your home. Sigh...
      Have a good day, too!

  3. I was a slow converter to digital, resisted for a long time. Now I wonder how we *ever* did it with film?

I hope your day has been enjoyable and memorable!!

  4. Awwee so true... I love this, Sharon! And you are so right... now that we have sharper photos we work on softening them and antiquing them to make them look older. Human beings can be strange at times, right? lol Hope you had a peaceful Christmas.
