Screen Shots

You know how I like taking pictures of the birds and dogs, and of my frustration in losing a cool shot because I am too slow or shaky. I was thinking of this, actually had thought of this on occasion. Why not take a movie and take a screen shot while I watched my movie and thereby have the best shot?

I played with it most of the day yesterday on some old digital movies with varied results. Birds flying were nothing but a blur. Movies for the sake of memories were not great. I realize now that I must take movies in a much higher resolution in order to get anything worthwhile. The following are a few of my practice shots.

Enlarging them becomes a real mess of pixels. I will try this again ...

  1. You can do this but you claim you can't upgrade computers? I would be totally clueless about doing this picture project.

    1. I still do well with old [unused] information. I do have to think on it for a while. New information, however, goes through my mind like a sieve.

  4. That is a great idea, I don't know how I would do it with my camera for sure, but I have a problem with it being glacially slow to 'click' the picture. If I did a movie, that would solve the problem, like you mentioned. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

    1. Part of my problem taking pictures is the click ... click too. That's why I thought of the movies. Most of my movies were with the picture setting on 640x480.
