A quiet day ...

You know I do puzzles and I see a puzzle in a lot of the things I look at. Last week, DH made my lunch, so I took a picture. Today I turned the picture into a 200+ piece puzzle.
It took over an hour. I was watching the end of the first season of Fringe at the time. (I'm a multi-tasker, haha)
 Mmmmmm!

Ms Bluebird was back again this morning. It's usually a Mr in the spring. I'm wondering if this is one of their offspring from last year. Could be they didn't make it through the winter, sad thought. Maybe this one is early?
Bluebird family picture from a few years ago.

I keep paper in front of my computer, making notes for my next blog if I think of something. One day, I'll make a note, the next day's note gets circled. Tonight, I looked at the paper. I had written, 'Keyboard fumbles' and circled it. I wonder what I had in mind? Sigh ...

  1. I love doing those puzzles. I don't do the 200 pieces though. I'm on 75 right now lol

    1. Oh, I've worked my way up. The most pieces I can do on my laptop is 300 piece. I like making puzzles from my pictures, but I don't like too much grass. Ha Ha.

  2. I keep a stack of paper by my computer too, and a whole can of pens in different colours. Blue for writing notes, red to circle the important notes, the black pens just sit there, unused.

    1. I bought the game at Amazon, it's called Puzzle Master - it's old think for older computers, paid $20 for it, had 3 parts (skill levels and pictures), but only the second one works now. I have win7. The game no longer has support. Anyway, this game let's you add your own pictures on the second level. You control the size and shape of the puzzle pieces and how many pieces. You just pick and the game does it for you.

    2. Thanks. I will go to Amazon and check if they still have it. I love jigsaws. I do nearly one every day on the ipad.

  5. Ms. Bluebird is so pretty. I was out sitting on the deck the other day and saw one fly by. They are so pretty. Close to 70 today in Nashville so silly Phil was a little off on his thoughts of us having six more weeks of winter.....haha we have not even had the first 6 weeks! I started a puzzle back several weeks ago but after getting a lot done, I lost interest and put it up....oops! Have a great weekend.

    1. We could be freezing our buns at any time though. You know how unpredictable the weather is here.
You're either a puzzle person or you're not. It's all good.

  11. That puzzle program is cool! I'm going to look it up. I love doing puzzles, real ones and on the computer. It's very soothing to me and keeps my mind going. - Paper by the computer?? I have notebooks in nearly every room of the house, in the car and my purse. I write everything down. :)

    1. I hope you can find the puzzle program you want.
Yes, just that paper in front of my computer, others just get lost in the shuffle.

  12. The puzzle program sounds fun. I hadn't ever thought about doing jigsaw puzzles in that way.

I, too, often jot down notes about future blog post ideas only to not know what I was thinking of when I read them later. Inspiration is very fleeting in my world.

    1. LOL Inspiration - it does seem to evaporate at an amazing speed, doesn't it? The reason I can't write stories anymore.
