Nothing' Doin'
We had storms, on and off, all night and into this morning. Then miraculously the sun came out. I got used to that and suddenly the clouds have come rolling in again. Bah! I'm ready to go back to bed with the dogs. They're not enthused with the weather either. Nothing to do besides watch the fig buds burst.
See Y'all later!
Rainy days are great for sleeping in.
ReplyDeleteYep!
DeleteTis the time for those storms....spring always brings them on. I really hate seeing them coming esp when they yell for tornados. Take care and cover if you have too.
ReplyDeleteHave a buzz thing on my phone for warning ...

ReplyDeleteThings are flowering up a storm here thanks to the last few days of rain. (which was much needed). Rainy days are the best for sleeping, for sure!
ReplyDeleteAh, April showers ... (snort)
DeleteWe just had 2 lines of storms pass through, my cat HATES the thunder.
ReplyDeleteYeah, rain went through again since I posted ...
DeleteIt's very windy here and I really can't stand it. I did a load of laundry, but couldn't even hang it on the line for fear it would blow away. Since I don't own a dryer, it's now hanging all over my bathroom. Still, I remind myself that I am lucky. I don't live where there are horrific storms and tornados. So, stay well, hug dogs, and watch something good on TV. Are you watching Home Fires? I love it.
ReplyDeleteOur wind usually dies down in the evening (unless it's going to storm) does it do that there? If so, you could maybe dry the stuff over night and then bring back in when the wind kicks up in the morning?
DeleteHome Fires, yep. This start of the season was pretty packed with things. I wanted to strangle that operator. I didn't realize the English picked up the Italian etc. citizens, just like the U.S. did the Japanese. Oh, dear, Mrs. Sims is going to get herself in a jam with that soldier! I love this series, too.
Omgosh. We had that weather last week and I did exactly what you said. I took my pup and got in bed and watched Netflix while the rain poured.
ReplyDelete;-)
DeleteNothing better than snuggling inside. Looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteStill waiting for the leaves to change here
Evening...you asked on my blog if the bird talked, yep, he says, BIG BOY and Whatcha doing? My brother is a Vandy fan and I have tried to teach TJ to say UT! my brother would have a duck! haha ...also trying to teach him to say, "BRAT"!
ReplyDeleteI used to have my sister's parrot, Buddy. He was a hoot! I miss him, he talked in my sister's voice.
DeleteReply to your questions.....Not my BF, ex BF, we remained friends. Yes, he has the pigs and when we first started dating he had two goats! He rents his barn to a man who boards and trains horses. My girl don't like the barn, she likes being out so she is pasture horse. She was given to me by my sis in law and brother. She was theirs for about 15 yrs but the other horse kicked the bucket so Misfire was all alone. Chris said I could bring her to his farm and the guy that rents from him, he feeds her when he feeds his. Its a great deal.
ReplyDeleteThat is really a great deal! Horses do like their company ...
DeleteNo storms here yet but plenty of rain. I hate it. I know nature needs rain but couldn't it come when I'm asleep?
ReplyDeleteThe perfect weather would be sunny skies during the day and soft gentle rain at night. Too bad we cannot arrange that. :-)
DeleteI love seeing fig trees bursting into life. One day bare branches, next day green buds, day three and they're leaves already. It's an annual miracle.
ReplyDeleteMy figs aren't quite that fast, though I did notice a couple tiny real leaves yesterday! I am so delighted they didn't freeze out again this winter!
DeleteSounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteWatch the fig buds burst open for a while.
And go back to bed!
Yup, it sounds good to me.
:-)
Have some sun, I am awake (though I don't know for how long) LOL!
DeleteWe've had crazy storms this week. Last night was horrible. I think today is supposed to be better. I hope you get some better weather soon.
