Still on a break ...

Update:

DH is didn't go back to work. He had MRI and Dr says it's the same thing but on both sides. Outpatient surgery on Tuesday morning. Then he'll be off work for six weeks. I do wish it was the new season for TV ... Not sure how we will manage.

I'm reading your blogs, but not really time to comment without interruption, just saying. Have a new dishwasher on order, someone is to call when they will come and install.

Other bra from Amazon fits ribs, but, hahaha. Can't hook it up without it looking like I have a single blob trying to escape.

Stay safe this weekend, folks.

  1. Best wishes for DH on his surgery and recovery, since the new TV season hasn't started yet, I guess you just will have to keep us in line.

    Thank you for the update.

  5. I bought some new bras. Was measured and everything. Get them in the mail, got them at a party plan, and yup only just able to do it up. I'm just going to go and buy and extender. Much easier
Hope hubby is ok. Sending hugs to both of you

    1. Went for a fitting once. The resulting bra was like a tourniquet. I threw it into the back of my closet. ,-)

  6. Sorry to hear about DH and the blob bra. Wouldn't it be nice if the boobs just shriveled away once they were no longer needed? Then we wouldn't have to worry about bra shopping for how ever many years. Think about it. I haven't "needed" my boobs for the last 35 years, yet the bra companies keep getting my money.
So DH is needing surgery for both knees? I hope you get some sort of home help while he is unable to get around.
All I can suggest for TV is watch all your favourite DVDs and maybe read a lot of books.

    1. Not two knees, both sides of the right knee.
Boobs, would be nice if they did just dry up ... :-)

    2. One knee sounds much better than both, hoping the other knee stays healthy as long as possible. Say 50 years or so :)

  7. Best wishes to your husband for the impending treatment.... and to you as well, of course. I rarely find anything worth watching on TV yet hubby used to find plenty. It must be me....!

  8. "Dr says it's the same thing but on both sides." What does that mean? What is "the same thing"...? Since I have knee issues, I am very interested.

"Outpatient surgery on Tuesday morning." Again, what is the nature of this, please?

Don't know what you are going to do... With him, on 6 weeks off. :-)))))) Netflix????????

    Again, best luck on Tuesday!!!!

  12. Sorry to hear about DH's op - oh, he must have had it by now. Hope all went well and that recovery is faster than anticipated.
My exercise bra is a squeeze-'em-together so they can't move design. It doesn't work.
