PLease excuse ...

I ordered this. Not sure why I was disappointed, maybe because it turned out badly,of course she had to die at some time ...
I watch it this morning and went back to bed. Lousy night coughing with the crud. Ready to crawl back under the covers ...

  1. I liked that movie but I wouldn't have wanted to watch it if I was sick, just because it didn't have a happy ending for her or him. Hope you feel better soon.

  2. Sigh. I am coughing up a storm too. And it puts a dampener on everything. I haven't seen the movie, but do like Judy Dench. A lot.
    Get better soon.

  8. I did not know it was out on DVD. Thought it was just now in the movies. I will watch it because I am enjoying VICTORIA on PBS now...the second season.

  12. I think I'll see the movie because I like Judy Dench. Victoria also had a deep friendship with an employee at her place in Scotland, didn't she? I think the movie was called Mrs. Brown. In PBS's "Victoria", she is so young and beautiful that it's hard to believe she turned into the stern dowager of official portraits made when she was older. Get well soon. Be Queen for a day or two or three. Ring for tea. Demand crumpets.
