Tracks out and tracks in a minute later. |
The phone
DH wanted to know what the weather was doing.
Through the blur, told him what I saw. Snow on the road ...
That was 3 hours ago.
I thought he would come home, and at the same time I wondered why he even went in. He didn't. I have no idea what the weather is where he is.
Well, it was snowing and hasn't stopped yet, now the yard is all white and it just keeps coming. There is NO traffic on the road.
Sigh ...
It is real pretty, I can say that for sure.
We'd call that a dusting here in Michigan. Love the tracks in the snow photo.
ReplyDeleteFresh snow always looks so nice...until you get the snow shsovel out.
ReplyDeleteSometimes its better to wait out the storm, friend mine ... and cry a lil and sleep a lil ... and then some fine day ... voila ... Spring is here again ... smiles ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteI love a good winter storm...as long as I am inside and have heat.
ReplyDeleteMy son has just called from Scotland, they have 3 inches at the moment with more to come. I'm down in the south and we generally don't get much snow. I might be tempting fate here, lol

As someone who doesn’t ever have to deal with snow. I think it looks so pretty
ReplyDeleteBut I’m sure it’s a real pain for those that do
I hope your hubby got home safe and sound.
Stay warm xx
It is incredibly pretty. Says she who doesn't have to deal with it.
ReplyDeleteStay warm, stay safe.
It does have a pretty look to it initially- quiet and peaceful as well. And for a short while makes everything look different.
ReplyDeleteWe have to physically go out of our way to see snow - don't do that these days lol
In fact we have a hot one coming up today - over 30c, well into the high 80fs.
Where did your man get to in the end?
He stayed at work until noon and then he came home. He said some of the roads were slick. He couldn't take any of his back road shortcuts. The sun just came out, it's 17F ...
DeleteDriving on snowy, icy roads always scared me when we lived in Colorado. I don't miss it. They're saying Atlanta will be getting snow tomorrow, but we're close enough to the coast we'll miss it this time---YEAH
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty, the first light dusting looks like God spilled a giant pack of icing sugar. Hope he gets home safely.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is pretty as long as you don't have to work in it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, it's sometimes scary to share one's emotions on issues like these in our divided country. We haven't had any snow yet, hope we get some, and hope DH finds his way home soon.
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to get it later today. Can't say that I'm looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the tracks picture:) Cute.
The view from my window is similar to yours. Thank goodness the sun is shining, hope there's enough heat to shift the snow. Hope your husband's drive there and back were incident free.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is pretty until someone lets the dogs out.
ReplyDeletetoo true ;-)
DeleteYep......it's pretty but I am ready for it to be gone. My road is pretty clear except right out my drive where the creek crosses under. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, stay warm and if you get tired of it send a little of it to south Texas.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty and I'm assuming your local road authorities are more used to dealing with this than ours are. And your drivers are too? WE all go to pieces if it snows!
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahaha!
DeleteSharon:
ReplyDeleteThose images are QUITE beautiful! You have a real photographer's eye. Do you pursue art photography as a hobby at all? If not, you may want to consider it. It is quite fun as a hobby.

Thank you, but I just take pictures. Since digital I take a ton of pictures.
DeleteDo you still have snow? We got about 6". Closed up about everything around here. Of course, Walmart was still open. Heh heh.
ReplyDeleteoh these snowy views are so gloomy and beautiful at same time.
ReplyDeletemy son is having lots of snow in Munich and he said this weather is getting on his nerves because there is no outdoor movements and being youngman he needs to move a lot
first photo is quite interesting dear Sharon!
