Puzzling

I have been trying to find a puzzle maker to use on my PC. I found a free one - Free to try out for 5 hours ... then it's money. I used to have a program in my '95 that was sweet. Of course, 'used to' is the operative phrase here. I've been looking and I really want something I don't have to finish right away, something with more pieces. You know? Challenge my mind but doesn't keep me strapped in this chair for hours. I like to make my own picture puzzles. Found out last night that black and white can be very challenging - picture four people, standing in the thick woods with peeks of sunshine in B/W.

Took a picture of my poor hibiscus (for a puzzle). It didn't get pruned and is so straggly. The plant must be 40 years old, it was in the front yard of the old farmhouse - now our back yard.
Sad, isn't it? Next year, for sure.

I may not be posting so often. Things are so calm here, there is nothing to blog about. Seriously. I must be boring you all to death. DH hitting the road again. (Yawn) My moccasins are coming today. (Yawn) I wasn't going to complain about summer, but, sigh ... I really want to - it's god-awful, already! (Yawn) It may be boring right now. I'm loving it though and it's so good for my blood pressure, don't you know.

  1. Can't help you with puzzles. I work jigsaw puzzles on my iPhone overtime I have a few minutes to spare or have to wait a few minutes somewhere. That's as adventurous as I get. Calm is wonderful but you're right, it gets boring. Summer is going to be here a long time so don't stick your head out.

  2. I wonder if DH could take John with him for a few days so my blood pressure could go down. His messes drive me crazy.

  4. Sorry, I can't help you with the computer program for puzzles. I didn't know that existed.

As for how boring it gets during summer...totally agree with you. Summer has barely begun and nothing much is happening worth writing about. It is always nice when things are just calm and moving along but it doesn't provide much in the way of blog fodder.

    1. Jigsaw puzzles are a welcome change to solitaire, haha and very addictive. More fun when you can put the kids together or the pets ...

  7. I have a puzzle app on my tablet but I don't know of any on the PC. Life gets like that. It just coasts along. Not much happening. Which in my book is perfect. I'd rather boring old nothing much happening than drama and strife.
Hope you find a website. Have a great day xx

    1. Some people are not drawn to solitary games, some are. I know you have all kinds of other things you do.

  10. We really haven't gotten into "hot" yet. My lilac bush needs to be trimmed. Hoping I'll get some help from the husband in the next day or so.

    1. You're very fortunate! Here in the "Devil's Armpit" the temp 'feels like' 100 F and the dew point is 80. You can see the muggy air.
We generally trim in the fall or the dead of winter when the sap is down.

  11. Not very summer-like here in the UK at the moment (grey and very wet) but if it was hot and humid, we'd all be complaining about that ~ we Brits do like to have a moan about the whether LOL I play puzzles on my Nintendo :-D

    1. No Nintendo in our house - son took it to CA, I guess. Never knew you could do that. Doing puzzles in any way, is fun - if a person is into solitary play. :-)
