Romping on the bed

Wet nose, wet lips, ready to lick!
Posing with my boy ... Is it going to flash?

An ambulance went screaming down the road and it's a "Must howl moment."

Really getting into the howl.
Son came for a visit and, of course, the dogs were happy. (Me too!) He has a great internet connection and brings me games, movies, and interesting things that I cannot afford to download on my internet. I have this Ginormous [did you know this is a word on the spell check?] hard drive and it is barely being used to store anything except my photos and writing.

Last week had me losing my mind. Problems with my drug company and my new, never used debit card, completed my frustration. I am just too old to mess with all the craziness brought on by my inability to cope with the changing times. It's all moving too fast for me. Son now informs me that some new thing out there is coming in a couple of months. The information flew over my head. 3D movies/games on a smart type phone? I will pass - for sure! Think I will keep my flip phone ...

  1. I know how you feel. My smart phone is driving me crazy and now my Kindle Fire, which I loved, has undergone a bunch of changes, adding more stuff that I just don't want or understand why it has to be on there since I certainly didn't ask for it.

    1. Wouldn't it be wonderful if a person could actually pick the options on their electronics, rather than have to delete/change/put up with so much of that weirdness?

  2. Lady, you are working awfully hard at resisting change. I do share some of your frustration however. I think all of us must be getting new bank cards with a chip. I hate it when it's time for a new bank card & all sorts of people have to be notified. Grrrr. What irritated me the most with this change is that 99% of businesses don't have their machines set up to use the new cards. I had to call our pharmacy provider twice this week. Once because of that new bank card. Fortunately our pharmacy provider has very good customer service so it wasn't painful.

    1. Everyone has something they are not good at - with me it's technology. I know when I'm whipped.

    1. Her howl hurts your ears!

I started on a Win 3.1 if I'm not mistaking, it had 0.5MB memory. They ought to be using their huge brains helping humanity instead of messing with seniors' minds! ;-)

  5. What drives me crazy is that the smart phones have to be updated every couple of months. New technology! I'm barely hanging on. The first picture of Jack is the best!!! Up close and personal. Glad to see your son.. it looks like Jack was really happy to have him home.

    1. So ... I REALLY don't want a smart phone, right?

Dear Bobbi, you ate that old cupcake didn't you? Pic is Jill, she's the bigger one, she's the 'pretty' one. :-)

  6. John is to the point he goes nuts when the power goes off which it did Friday. You would think the world came to an end. If he would be quiet and quit walking the floor I could still handle that one. lol

  7. Fun photos of your kids!! And I'm with you on technology. I did get a new "smart phone" a couple of months ago, and the worst part about it was the *stupid* cover that was bought with it -- I was way too dumb for it! :-)
