This and That

Back to the drawing board - At least everything is sorted. I have decided that the book would be too floppy with the larger pages and multiple pic on each page. I will have to make it smaller and pay the $ for more pages.

You know, it could be interesting if your computer spit out a 'ticket' every day as to how many hours were spent on various venues and how many on actual work.

The wind was so strong yesterday, one of the trees across the road lost about a quarter of its height.

My son J gave me a 'Make-over' the other day - for those who didn't see it on Fb - here it is. I'll have to get hold of his program and swap out some of their baby faces with them now.
He looks just like me, LOL!
We have a squirrel again. He opened up the top of the feeder to help himself. Smart little fellow!

I was so tired yesterday (sans nap) that I fell asleep around 9:00. I woke up at 4:00, the stars were shining brightly. Went back to bed and slept until 7:00. Maybe I won't need a nap today.

Have a good one!

    1. Sigh, even if I bought them all, I can't 'do' anything with them because of the copyright. (I feel cheated, somehow)

  2. Me too! Naps are good, don't know what I would do without them.

  3. Perhaps your son is using Snap Chat. I can't imagine all you have planned for writing and yet you are so resistant to learning new computer technology. We all do things out own way though and that's good.

    1. Resistant, no, can't comprehend let alone retain.

  4. I get tired of hearing about copyrights, if something is on the internut it is free game for anyone that wants it unless it is protected by code that prevents you from grabbing a copy. I'm just a blogging whore, would never write or publish a book.

    1. That's why I can't show the pictures any larger - the copyrights. I do not know how to keep anyone from 'grabbing' and using. I would love to show off my dad's work, but ... is not mine to show.

    2. If dad is still alive just ask him, if not, just do it. Besides, how do you know they are copyrighted? Just because someone creates something doesn't mean it is automatically copyrighted. Did he do them for a living or just for the heck of it? Who is there to sue you? Takes money to enforce copyrights. COPYRIGHT??

    3. My dad passed in 1970. The website for MNHS states that stuff is copyrighted and she even told me in our correspondence. My dad was a teacher for the institute during the depression and his pictures were made as he instructed the students. The paintings belong to the institute. The state of Minnesota has the power to enforce the copyright laws.

    1. I couldn't nap at your age either, give life a few more years or ten and you'll be falling asleep watching TV.

    1. Caught (on camera) one of the (now) two squirrels trying to get the sunflower seeds. It was swinging and hanging on - determined to clean out the feeder! Rascals!
