Monster in a blanket

My monster ...
I washed my comforter the other day and decided it had outlived it's usefulness. DH picked this up for me yesterday. I had been looking at the various plush blankets and couldn't decide on what I really wanted, so I threw caution to the wind and asked him to find me one. In person the blanket is a soft medium forest green - I'm seeing the picture of it as a sort of blue. I don't know if it's my monitor, my camera, or the lighting that's responsible. What color do you see? Jack really likes it and is ready to play Monster in a blanket.

  2. Jack is looking darling in what appears to be an aqua blue on my monitor. Such a cute picture and the blanket does look super cozy.

    1. Hmm ... I didn't have any artificial lighting on. Guess, I'll wait and see what others have to say about it - maybe it's my camera. I would like to pin down the problem. Thanks! Oh, that blanket is downright lovable!

  3. Lovely aqua blanket. Your monster has a good life I would say. From the face I would say your monster might be approaching old age, a time to be spoiled. Looks like a harmless monster. Perhaps bark worse than bite monster.

    1. It must be my camera, I swear the blanket is green. Jack is much loved (spoiled) and his bite can hurt quite a bit through a blanket. He will be 10 this summer.

    1. It has to be my camera settings, don't you think?

Wish I could write children's books, but I think I would give them nightmares.

    1. It is decidedly not my monitor, it has to be the camera, or the way the camera sees the color. It's kind of silky and has a luster to the fibers. In the picture it looks that bluish color to me too. Touching it, it is green. Sigh ... It is very cozy at night, I hope it holds up!

    1. Jack likes to play with me or Jill in the blankets - It's kind of a fight and bite game. He is usually very careful but on occasion he can get carried away. Ha Ha.

    1. Think it's the way the camera sees the color. I've never had this happen before - it has to have something to do with the polyester fibers nor reflecting the color green.

    2. erm ... not reflecting the green.
