I took them yesterday evening. I hear it's from all the smoke from the wildfires in Saskatchewan that's in the air. Yep, all the way to Tennessee. I just thought the distance setting had oddly changed the color.
With my naked eye it was the orange, not sure why the color was different in landscape mode. Oh, Guess there are fires on the west coast too, could be playing with the air. Normally after about 10 degrees up from the horizon the moon looks mostly white-ish. Not often there is so much pollution in the air to get color like this at maybe 40 degrees up from the horizon. (As these were)

I'm so envious of all th beautiful moon shots. I really need to go and get myself a new camera
