Saturday Silliness

Strange moth on the screen also shows a perfect example of what happens when a person tries to 'power wash' their nylon screens. I would not advise this. DH sprayed most of them before I got him to stop.
That squirrel! DH let him have his fun, and then he took off the bungee cord he had attached to keep it from swinging wildly. The birds don't seem to mind and now the pesky squirrel has a lot more trouble getting into the feeder.
When a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? Obviously not, I didn't hear a thing. Such a shame, think there was a family setting up housekeeping in it. Guess it's better to fall now than once the eggs hatched.

Yesterday, I was going to make a practice book of my dad's art to make sure the pictures were clear enough, but I need more ink in the printer. I spent the afternoon surfing the web for old mansions and I was surprised to find some real dandies that I really could live in. Then last night I watched TV with DH. There is a show about 3 friends ghost hunting in an old mansion. Laughed until my lungs hurt! All in all, I would not want a mansion that was reported to have ghosts, just sayin'.

  1. Can't say that I'm into mansions, preferring warm and cozy. Your squirrel friend will likely get more exercise but not give up the challenge.

    1. I don't think he will give up either, but it will be more entertaining to watch him try.

  2. Neither would I Sharon! But I would love to tour some that didn't have ghosts. Gary and I toured the Barker mansion in Indiana and it was such fun!

    1. If I could afford a mansion, it only makes sense to have a housekeeper and a maid. Ha Ha I'll see if I can find the Barker Mansion.

  3. No mansions for me either. Well maybe if I had a good maid.

    1. Probably need a couple, I was looking at BIG mansions. I'd bet you'd love it. I looked at a couple of them in Texas, although they were higher priced ...

  4. I think I would rather live in a motorhome and wander around enjoying the country, if I ever win the lotto.

    1. Well, who wouldn't? I'm stuck at home, so a big one wouldn't hurt!

    1. I wouldn't want a creepy old mansion - a light and airy one maybe.

  7. Big old houses fascinate me but I don't want to live in one. The upkeep, maintenance and heating/cooling are more than I would want at this point in my life. I did live in a haunted house once as a kid. The neighbors claimed to hear things at night but we never did.
