I took these shots the other day and thought it would be too much for the page. Well, anyway, this little guy waited around for me to get the camera, turned to give me the various views, but of course, I thought he would fly off and didn't take the time to focus properly. I do love my little bluebirds!
He was such an obliging little guy!
Got a couple movies from my son today. One is Howl's Moving Castle and the other is Stardust. Howl's Moving Castle is a Disney animated film. I watched it right away, cool family picture, I recommend it for family viewing. (Or a rainy afternoon)

DeleteWhat great photos! He is a beautiful bird. I can't get bluebirds to come to my yard but I sure love my woodpeckers and cardinals.

DeleteFOr many years I never saw a bluebird, they are becoming more common with people putting up houses to replace the trees they preferred.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of the blue bird.

Yes I thought shoulder right away. We don't have these pretty birds here but I'm thankful for the Cardinals.

DeleteSweet bird!!!
ReplyDelete"Howl's Moving Castle" is actually Japanese Anime. Here is a site, which tells more about it.
If you like this one, please try "My Neighbor Totoro". That was the first anime film, which I watched. I'm sure your library system has it.
I know about anime, because a grand daughter did/does loves it. She is actually living in Japan this year, teaching Japanese children. Learning the day to day use of the Japanese language. Living there, she is totally immersed in the language. Which she could not learn, with 4 years of University.
Enjoy! And perhaps find a new form of film, to explore!!!
I have watched it before and enjoy. I just couldn't think of the word for it. I love the watercolor look of it.
DeleteLove bluebirds...I only see them here in the early spring and then not for another year.
ReplyDeleteThey raise babies here. :-)
DeleteYou get the best shots of birds!! I don't believe I have seen any of those movies. Finished reading Dusty Trunk 2. I loved your Back to The Land chapter. You have such a way with words and descriptions... All the stories were good.. some I had read before. But this one was my favorite. Hope you're staying warm and thinking spring ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bobbi! No snow, but pretty chilly here for this time of year.
Deleteaw, he's cute! We don't have bluebirds here.
