Great pics SJ. I love that cardinal shot. We don't have cardinals out here. :( Your Jill is a sweetie and I want to reach thru the screen and get some of those tomatoes!
Yum on the tomatoes- they have a completely different taste (and smell) than shop bought ones. What on earth did you say to Jill to bring on such a sad look 😊 Oh and on what you revealed the other day - you have my deepest sympathy. I have lost a couple of cats suddenly like that and there is no other word except devastating that covers it. The shock lives there for ages. Take care Sharon
Those tomatoes are beauties! Sorry to see Jill's sad eyes, she misses Jack so much I can tell. Love the other photos, I've never seen a mockingbird before.
Bet those tomatoes taste good. We can't grow them any more so have to buy them in the shops, no comparison to home grown. Mmmm can smell them...... Briony x
Yes, earlier. They are so much fun to watch at the feeder with the 'folks,' it's "feed me!" at the feeder, and they are the size of the parents, almost. They have no clue. Ha ha.
The tomato's look great. I have not had a garden fresh one this yr. Need to go raid my friends garden!
ReplyDeleteWe have had fresh tomatoes for two months now - Loving It!
DeleteNow that is a nice lineup of pictures, each one very good, it's been a while since I've seen a Cardinal, but the Mockingbirds are plentiful.
ReplyDeleteJill, Tacky, D H, and yourself look like you have it made.
Thanks. If only ...

ReplyDeleteWe have several Cardinal families living in our area. I think the daddy is guarding a second batch.
DeleteYeahhhhh tomatoes look great!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lovely day
The first tomato plant is finished, these came from the second (last) plant. What I can't eat fresh, I am freezing for soup.

If Jill knows I am taking her picture, that's the look she makes. I have to catch her unaware.
DeleteShock, disbelief, yeah ...

I am enjoying the tomatoes, that's for sure.
DeleteI think Jill forgets now and then, I'm glad for her. She did play with Tacky a bit yesterday.
Love Jill... Ooooh yes. I'm not jealous of your lovely tomatoes because I've just discovered they upset my system. Pity when I loved them so much!
ReplyDeleteJill is a real lovey.
DeleteOh, my, not sure I could give up my tomatoes.
