The good stuff - It's 5:30 and still light enough to see to walk around outside. The days are really getting longer and the weather averages have begun their slow winter temperature climb. One degree warmer for lows and two degrees warmer for daytime highs.
Promising. We almost have January kicked, but February will hold some surprises I'm sure.
We have a new bird feeder. This one holds a bunch, so DH doesn't have to go out there every day. Visitors for now have been Sparrows, Cardinals, and RW Blackbirds. A few other odd ones from time to time. I don't see that thin cable holding up any better than the other one. I cleaned the window and was promptly rewarded (or punished, you choose) by one of the birds slamming into it.
I finished watching Damages with Glenn Close and Rose Byrne, and a host of names in smaller parts. I really liked it. 5 seasons in 5 days! I should have dragged it out, but I couldn't wait to see what happened next!
Have a pleasant day, night or in-between!
Things are going to be interesting the political world...Pretty bird.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Yes, interesting, daily surprises.
DeleteGlad your days are getting warmer. Still hot here. But bearable. For now
ReplyDeleteI do have that urge to start stacking firewood so who knows
Love the bird feeder xx
I guess it never hurts to lay up a bunch of wood for next season.
DeleteI believe the birds like the feeder too, It's usually got food in it. Ha Ha.
Yep we do know who will pay for that wall.
ReplyDeleteWe sure do!
DeleteI'm annoyed that anyone would even think to build a wall, never mind actually doing it. Is he planning on eventually fully enclosing the states, thus shutting them off from the rest of the world?
ReplyDeleteI like the bird feeder.
Every day, it seems he gives us a new surprise.
DeleteNews from the States is 'headline' now. I worry about the future!
ReplyDeleteScary, isn't it?
DeleteThe next four years will be a roller coaster ride, I suspect. I am nearly afraid to watch the news these days.
ReplyDeleteLike the bird feeder. Looks like the Cardinal is enjoying it as well. So pretty.
It feels like a bad genii has been let out of the bottle.
DeleteWe have quite a few Cardinals in our area, I enjoy watching them immensely.
YAY for the Mexican President for standing up to El Blowhard.
ReplyDeleteYou're right!
DeleteDamages certainly sounds like a good series if you watched that many episodes in so short a time! 😉
ReplyDeleteHere in Australia, we shake our heads as every day we hear of more crazy things happening in your country's political arena.
Lots of head shaking going on here.
