Nothing, Zero, Zilch, Nada

There is nothing to report. I have been watching some of the DVDs my son gave me for Christmas. The last couple of days, it's been Damages, a series about a lawyer and the corruption around her and her firm. It's pretty good, so far, with the exception of all the flash backs done in poorer grade 'film.'

I hadn't been watching the news at all. I just noticed that Mr. Trump signed the papers for those bleep pipelines. I won't add more thoughts on the subject because I am burning a bit.

I've noticed that commercials take up 1/4 to 1/3 of the viewing time for programs with the exception of PBS. We're buying too many disposables these days and it seems that everything is disposable.

Sorry for the nothing post, it's just that time of year, I guess. Have a good day, night, whatever.

    1. Having a rain shower ahead of the front. Should be clear after that.

  2. I ran out of steam a few times, the only way round it was to jot down thoughts and write them later. I can't even say much about latest news because that would drive me off altogether.

    1. I tried jotting down things before, then when I look at them - they sound silly.

  3. Sometimes so much is going on that the steam is gone by 10 AM. (Daughter and family are getting ready to move and we're helping.)

    1. Big job - helping someone move! Take it easy.

  4. I'm not a fan of "flashbacks" in shows. One or two if they're done well, but not so many that I lose track of which time they're in for each scene.

    1. The "flashbacks" are real grainy looking, so there is no mistaking them. Think too much fill, trying to get the viewer's anxiety level up.

  5. Nothing days are good, so why do I feel so guilty? I feel like I always should be doing something around here. I have been retired for so long, but it's hard to change. I just read what they did to the EPA. I miss Poldark, hope he comes back soon.

  6. Not much going on in my neck of woods either. I just shake my head in shock with President Trump.

    1. Yep, pretty dull, I suppose that's a good thing.

  7. Damages sounds interesting. I hadn't heard of it.

You sound like me...I have all but given up watching the news. Even the daily newspaper is irritating me. GGGGRRRR

I agree with you about the commercials. It feels like commercials are the biggest part of any program these days.

    1. I really liked it. Just finished it this morning. Lots of blood and murder and intrigue. I was so surprised at the end! (5 seasons in 5 days - no wonder I don't get anything done!)
