Mr Jingles

I'm sure you all know about my problem. I made the peanut butter/can/bucket trap. The web shows many pictures of them in varied styles, some look great and some look clunky, but they all kill mice. Not mine. Are they that smart? It's been a few days and nothing. Yesterday, I was on my comp and Mr. Jingles was all over my desk checking out my stuff. Gutsy little guy. I would say not full grown. (They will all be called Mr. Jingles, BTW.)

This morning, I caught Mr. Jingles 1 in my live trap. Sorry it's such a lousy picture. Jill watched it with great interest, but I was afraid to let her have it. DH dispatched it. Well, that's bucket 0, Tacky 1, live trap 1, only about 50 or more to go ...

It's a beautiful evening out. It is the first full moon I've seen for a few months. It's 65F, cloudless, and the wind has finally died down. Perfect!
Have a great day, night, whatever!

  2. Woo-Hoo! A working mouse trap without the blood'n'guts ick factor. I hope the rest are as easy and quick to catch.

  3. 'Tis the season of Mouses. We both think we've seen a furry scurrier out of the corner of our eyes.

    1. What happened to your post? Is it just me?
Mine aren't out of the corner of my eye - they sit on my telephone and look at me.

  5. I am thinking Mr. Jingles needs to move on down the road. Mice really creep me out.

Love your picture of the moon. That is quite pretty.

  6. I hate mice. I had one a few years ago that I think might have been Mighty Mouse.

  7. I could loan you my cat... he's brilliant at catching mice.

I have finally noted your blog address so here I am. For some reason Blogger doesn't show your blog on my sidebar which is the usual way I get links to other blogs. I have put it there several times but Blogger ignores it. I have some 'sticky notes' so one of them now contains your address.

    1. I did get Tacky to come in and she caught one, but she's an outdoor cat and really doesn't like staying in here.
I never count on Blogger to give me addresses. I go to their people's main site and copy/paste it into mine on the pop-up add thingy.

  8. Ya' know the best kind of mouse? A dead one! If you release it it'll come back and it'll bring it's friends..

    1. We no longer release, it's just easier to catch them.
