What a night!

I am exhausted and every description of the same. Jack and Jill decided they wanted to do something last night - after midnight. They wanted to go outside to play, and then they decided to traipse up and down the hallway with their nails clicking on the floor. I had to trap them here in my womb. Jack was saying his 'want' word. Gave them food and water, and conned them back to the bedroom with treats. Jill wanted her belly rubbed, she jumped up on the bed and flopped herself over, legs in the air. Jack kept insisting I had more treats in my pocket. They both vied for my attention and all I wanted to do was go to sleep. It is very hard to keep them quiet so DH can get some decent sleep. They can be as bad as a couple of two-year-olds on caffeine! I know what the problem is, it's the heat. They don't like to spend much time outside during the day. I don't blame them, of course, I can't handle it myself. I think it was almost time for DH to get up when they finally settled down.

I found a site for those interested in the PBS fall line-up. I have put a badge on the right side of my page from Willow and Thatch where they have The Period Films List. I think you will find it both interesting and helpful. Just click it and you will be there.

Have a pleasant weekend!

    1. Ok I don't know what I did but I hadn't finished saying what I wanted to say and...whoops...my comment was published. So I deleted it :) Anyway...Once in a blue moon Baron will be restless at night...but mainly it's me...waking up at some ungodly hour and just going ahead and getting up. :D :D :D Do you ever look for new blogs on blogspot...I've been trying to find some new blogs to link to and I'm having a really discouraging time. I found a search engine to use but about 80% of the blogs listed haven't posted in a couple of years. Is there somewhere on Google that I can look for blogs? Or do you have some suggestions about blog searches?

    3. That's what I do, check other people's blogs. I have no idea what to do otherwise.

  2. Oh gee... And you got the two of them working against you with their antics! I hate when Gracie decides she wants to be in and out in the middle of the night. She doesn't do it often these days but when she does.... Hope you got to catch up on sleep after they settled down. Have a good weekend :-)

  3. Jack and Jill's antics are always funny after the fact. Levi does that to me once in a while, too. I think the moon phases get to him. Maybe tonight they'll sleep great!

  4. Cats are easy to get rid of. Just shut the doors. Although these ones are really good. My old cat would just put his mouth at the bottom of the door and meow real low and loud. It would Eco up the hall. Boy was that annoying lol

    1. We live in a very small house, the only rooms with doors are the bedrooms and the bathroom, haha. That's why I had them in here with me. Oh, I remember my cat and her midnight serenades, oh, my!

  5. yup, my pups get the same way - cabin fever hits when it's finally cooled down overnight and they want out. then they bark, or someone scratches or pushes on on the door, then you have to get them ALL in and not leave anyone out there on their own unprotected in the night. *sigh*

    1. It must be a circus with the four of them. Well, the temps will be moderating pretty soon and life won't be so goofy.

  6. I feel your lack of sleep. I have nights when Angel wants to come in-go out-come back in-out again for about 6 hours :(
Then there are nights when we both sleep soundly for hours at a time. I like those :)

    1. A full night's sleep seems to be at a premium around here. I stay up until the dogs last "Potty Call" of the night - usually after 12:00, and then IF I am lucky, Jill will wake me with the sun. It should get better as the nights get longer, haha.
